How does Pharmaceutical Express work?

We send medicine and medical supplies internationally for humanitarian purposes. Pharmaceutical Express works through exclusive contracts with pharmaceutical suppliers in order to be a distributor of their product(s). We work with our legal team to conduct the necessary due diligence to ensure that all pharmaceutical distributors internationally working with Pharmaceutical Express are consistent with the general and specific license authorizations provided by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC). Our logistics team allows manufacturers to limit their exposure to sanction-related risks and save money on sanction compliance services.

How do you select distributors? What is your criteria?

Through our legal team, we select distributors internationally consistent with the terms of the general and specific license authorization applicable to our exports. Specifically, each party involved in the transaction is subject to sanctions compliance due diligence and screening measures to ensure that parties adhere to OFAC's criteria. In addition, we ensure that distributors are capable of engaging in payment terms that are authorized by the applicable general license or specific license.
